We had the privelage of joining the "Steam Whistle" crew at The Shack in Vancouver yesterday evening for some tasty green-bottled pops. I really liked this shot of James and I thought it was worth sharing here.

Elbows in the Sand... Catching Birds

I spent this morning at Jericho Beach trying to get photos of ducks. However,these were the photos I ended up with and, again, my silly photo assignments take another turn. Here is are a couple of photos of a heron that I liked. I will be adding to this post shortly.

Vancouver

I am really having a difficult time trying to capture the essence of this wonderful city. There is so much to offer but I can never quite get how I feel about it. What is even worse about these shots is that they were part of a challenge brought forward by my wife. I was supposed to go out and find "luck" in every photo I took that day and, well, failed miserably!

The Rain Came Down

The proliferation of water that occurs when a raindrop hits a wet surface is such a stunning image. I took this photo today as the rain made it's impressive return to Vancouver. I am not the biggest fan of the photo but it was the best I could do in my sickened state.
